This is a great honour for us at TLC. LandArt Collective is an awe inspiring organisation that is dedicated to:
"Restoring the Earth through the Arts alongside LAND ART Agency... A platform for artists exploring Earth matters."
This week Drew shares his art of drawing people & how he creates human connections with his art by telling the stories behind the drawings; and obviously the sustainable methods he has developed and learned over the years. Next week we will share Tango as our Land Art, with photography by one of Land Art founders Elizabeth Gleaver, a remarkable creature on Earth.
Below I have attached the links to the posts. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it :) The stories to the images are on the blurb of the image on Instagram.
We have covered all sorts of subjects:
mourning death from afar with art..
the impact of materialism, and when objects as well as people are discarded, they both can become toxic to the earth...
art helping dementia
the impact of art materials
the art of breastfeeding
gender fluidity (mostly due to the heated debate caused by Drew's self-portrait as a breastfeeding mother)
Trigeminal Neuralgia, and how art & music complimented the difficult situation
Rewilding Human Connection: Tribe
Art with earthly materials and subjects
Continuum Concept
...with more to come. The Following week we cover Rewilding Tango for human connection... Please follow @Landartcollective on instagram, they are amazing! With workshops and knowledge for all creatives to connect to the earth with. Oh and ps we changed our name to @the.loving.collaborative on insta :) So it's easier to find us now :)
