About the event

Our weekend Tango Retreat is a revolutionary introduction to the cultural grassroots of Tango, rebirthing the origins of where Tango came from: a dance of the people by the people, bonding community and creating tribe.

Ideal for beginners to start their Tango journey in a respectful, loving & healthy environment; and for intermediate or advanced dancers looking for a kinder, more respectful Tango practice, who perhaps want to learn to lead having followed for a while.

We combine many movement techniques and therapies to best transmit the art of Tango and connection through feel and not through steps. We teach both roles and emphasize the therapeutic benefits of dancing Tango.

We hope to empower people to feel connected and create tribe and bond our hearts, creating a kinder world for us all.

Hosted in Coed Hills, we immerse the participants in their learning process with nature as our ally, helping our human connection to each other and our environment. Coed boasts hectares of forest with wild swimming options, a gorgeous sauna, comfy cabins, camping options, double rooms, and a stunning main hall with a beautiful wooden floor.

We will be hosting: live music; healing sounds, including classic Tango music converted to medicine sounds with shruti and drums; beautiful holistic healthy oragnic, local and seasonal food we all eat together; lots of Mate 🧉; and epically wonderful company.

You can come solo or with a partner, with no experience in dance or lots. All are welcome.
