Service Description

We create unique activities through painting murals. They are designed to be open & inclusive for any member of the community to come together and participate in the way they prefer. In the process we dynamically adapt our techniques to suit the needs according to the issues affecting the community or ecosystem. Our experience: We have created many artistic murals/projects all over the world helping to support communities/charities/schools to face and begin to heal a variety of issues, from domestic violence to illiteracy, pollution and more. How to Commission: If you are interested in commissioning The Loving Collaborative to design a mural activity for your community/school/Cultural Centre, feel free to email us and describe who you are; who the community is; and where you would like the mural to be, and we can work out how to make it possible. What to Expect: Primary Research.. We usually start with a brief, and after some ethnographic research of the community, we present the various options of how to start the mural and what to make it with. Once we begin, we adapt how we execute the mural according to who participates and what their needs and interests are. Time scale: After the initial research phase, it can take a day, or a few weeks to complete, depending on size and number of participants. Examples: Feel free to look at our blog to see examples of previous murals/projects to get a better idea: Here is one in Brazil: https://www.thelovingcollaborative.com/post/eco-friendly-mural-with-kids And feel free to browse our blog to see more: https://www.thelovingcollaborative.com/blog https://www.thelovingcollaborative.com/post/projects Who we are: Chichi is a product designer who figures out how to execute the murals; Drew is our resident artist, you can see his work here: https://www.thelovingcollaborative.com/artwork Due to Covid restrictions, we won't be hosting mural workshops in person until after lock down, hopefully in April.
